Once Upon A Deadpool is set to be a heavily-edited version of Deadpool 2. Ryan Reynolds gets fans into the holiday spirit with a teaser trailer for Once Upon a Deadpool, featuring Fred Savage. The center of the teaser is, of course, the new framing device, a callback to Savage's role in the beloved 1987 film The Princess Bride. However, in Once Upon a Deadpool, Savage isn't a precocious child being entertained by his grandfather, but instead a kidnapping victim, expected to lend the PG-13 edit of Deadpool 2 a dose of "childlike innocence."
