Widows

Widows is a 2018 heist film. The film is about Harry Rawlings a renowned thief. However, when he and his partners Carlos, Florek, and Jimmy are killed during a botched robbery, his grieving wife Veronica is threatened by crime boss Jamal Manning, the man Harry robbed $2 million from. Manning needs this to finance his electoral campaign for alderman of a South Side precinct, where he is running against Jack Mulligan, the son of the incumbent Tom Mulligan. Veronica starts using Harry’s notebook, which contains a detailed plan of his next heist, to get the money she needs. She recruits two of the other widows, Linda and Alice to help carry out the robbery. (Credit: Wikipedia)

Widows stars Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo, Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya, Jacki Weaver, Carrie Coon, Robert Duvall, and Liam Neeson. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2018. It is scheduled to be released on November 16, 2018. The film is out in cinemas now.
