IO is an upcoming American science fiction film directed by Jonathan Helpert. As a young scientist searches for a way to save a dying Earth, she finds a connection with a man who's racing to catch the last shuttle off the planet.
IO stars Margaret Qualley, Anthony Mackie and Danny Huston. It is scheduled to be released on January 18, 2019, by Netflix.
