Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is an upcoming American horror film directed by André Øvredal, from a script co-written by Dan and Kevin Hageman, and a story by Guillermo del Toro. It is based on the children's book series of the same name by Alvin Schwartz.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark stars Zoe Margaret Colletti, Michael Garza, Austin Zajur. The first footage of the film premiered during the Super Bowl LIII. The film is set to be released on August 9, 2019, by Lionsgate and CBS Films.
